Dear friends
How are you? I begin by saying thank you to you all for engaging well as the fellowship which is Gillingham United Reformed Church and to prompt us to look forward to celebrating Pentecost on June 8th. Acts 2:1-4 [NIV] tells us that, ‘When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.’
Thank you to those of you who were able to commemorate VE Day over our bring and share lunch on 11th May following the Sunday morning worship, worship which sought to acknowledge the significance of the 80th Anniversary.

The next bring and share lunch will be on Harvest Sunday, 28th September and we look forward to that.
