The following statement has been agreed by the leadership of Gillingham United Reformed Church.
We are committed to following legislation, government and United Reformed Church policy and good practice guidelines on safeguarding children and adults in need of protection, including safer recruitment of workers.
We work to the United Reformed Church Good Practice 6 which can be seen on request from our Safeguarding Co-ordinators, Mike and Cherrie Smith or our Local Church Leader, Pam Tolhurst
If you have any concerns about the safety or welfare of a child or about the safety or welfare of an adult in need of protection you can speak to our Safeguarding
