Reader: A reading from the book of the prophet Isaiah:
And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder, and He shall
open and no one shall close, and he shall shut and no one shall open.
Local Church Leader: O key of David, and sceptre of the house of Israel, who opens and no one closes, and shuts and no one opens.
Congregation: Come. And liberate the captive from the prison house, and them that
sit in darkness and the shadow of death.
